If you loved the relaxed, time-based progression of the original Farm Together, or if you are just looking for a cozy game to unwind with after a long day, Farm Together 2 is a fantastic upgrade.
Really good game that has a very addictive loop, im a long time harvest moon/story of seasons player so was expecting a similar experience but its nothing like it other than the actual farming for profit, farm together 2 is very open no stamina so no sleep needed as crops/animals are based on real time which honestly I quite like and a nice change from having to sleep to progress your crops growth which so many farming games use, also no story this might sound boring but it throws you straight into the point of the game in the story/moon games your constantly bombarded with character quest dialogues not in ft2 your really left to do what you want for however long you want and it all feels rewarding the farm you get to expand is absolutely huge in comparison to other farming games with no restrictions on what you do with the land ft2 has a separate town theat you can access vis bus/map which is also big but probably a little to big for whats needed you can spend quite a lot of time running around fulfilling quests but its works perfectly so cant complain.
Multiplayer is reliable, fun, and great for inspiring new designs and layouts.
I jokingly say this is a far superior version of Farmville but without all the microtransactions and premium currency BS.
In particular, we LOVE that we can play split screen.
