Gameplay
Players who bring up Gameplay mostly praise it.
With modern controls, they feel a little too easy and could’ve used some extra challenge to match today’s gameplay expectations.

Story and characters
Players who bring up Story and characters mostly praise it.
The jungles, the characters, the atmosphere—it all looks amazing.

Audio
Players who bring up Audio mostly praise it.
The audio is much the same, and this actually impressed me the most I think, as Konami made specific effort in making the audio quality as high as they could, even by getting the original voice actors back to redo and complete new lines for this game.

Multiplayer
Players who bring up Multiplayer mostly praise it.
And restored almost all the content found in the original PS2 subsistence release, Snake V Monkey, Guy savage with this minigame being a remake of the original made by platinum games the same people that made Bayonetta and even added a neat small side 12 player multiplayer mode in the form of foxhunt...if you can get people to play with you on that...

Controls
Players who bring up Controls mostly praise it.
You are getting one of the best narratives in gaming history, now looking better than ever, with the downsides (only at the time of this review i hope) of a mediocre performance without FSR/DLSS and a weird PPT like controller scheme.
