Hermit and Pig

I'm really interested in seeing where the story goes, and how far our duo can come in terms of socialising.

Hermit and Pig is about an old man and his pig trying to save a town from something happening in the north. along the way you meet people and battle creatures in a very interactive combat system, along with quirky earthbound like vibe and humour.

The level of difficulty customisations available is amazing, and single-handedly makes this game amazing on top of the wonderful writing, fun gameplay, and amazing art.

I heard nothing about this game on the typical gaming forums and channels, and literally only snagged it because the art style was cute, and it gave off those always endearing "Earthbound vibes." I did not expect a surprisingly heartfelt commentary about capitalism, environmentalism, the power of community, and mental health...

The breadth of accessibility settings is also worth mentioning along with the ability to scale the difficulty up or down as needed.

Multiple settings for difficulty alongside being able to change whether you need to input combos, or select attacks from a list.
