Wasteland 2: Director's Cut

The mains story, while not mind-blowingly amazing, is good enough to keep you ineterested, though it is suprisingly linear.

Combat Initiative helps you get to attack first, and before you get to L.A. you will want a minimum of 12 so you don't take too many first-hits.

When I say that the role-playing is W2's greatest feature, some might translate it as the story or mechanics are very shallow.

But the graphics transport the atmosphere in a way modern engines lack.

Character customization is excellent, whether through weapons, skills or party composition, and the game consistently rewards exploration and thoughful decision-making.

Wasteland 2 has good graphical and sound design, which is key for immersion in this post-apocalyptic RPG world.
