This story (AAI2 specifically) clung on me around 5-6 years ago, when I watched someone else's highlight reel of the fan translated version of the story way-way back.
It feels like a much better fit all around, and I found myself not minding the point-and-walk gameplay nearly as much this time.
Players can switch between the original pixel graphics and newly drawn HD visuals, giving fans the freedom to enjoy the classic aesthetic or embrace a cleaner, more modern style.
The remastered soundtrack, with the option to revert to the original audio, also adds a layer of customization that complements the upgraded art.
Everyone is important somehow in this adventure, and there are portions of little easter eggs and witty and funny dialogue all throughout that make exploring through the variations of a dialogue loop makes it very fun to walk around and either examine stuff or talk to new people and show them what Miles has in his inventory.
