If you are a fan of the original Neversoft THPS games (or are looking for a fun arcadey skateboarding game with a satisfying gameplay loop), this game is a love letter to fans like you.

Remastered and rebuilt from the ground up by Vicarious Visions, this collection brings together the first two entries in the Tony Hawk series with modern visuals, improved physics, and a deep respect for the source material.

The classic soundtrack returns with most of the iconic tracks, and it’s been expanded with a well-curated list of newer songs that mesh surprisingly well with the original vibe.

Makes trying to do alternating inputs painstaking, making this a game I LOVE on my steam deck since it runs beautifully at nearly max settings, but loath on my pc until i get a different controller with a better d-pad.

Despite its flaws, the game is a lot of fun, and its extremely high skill ceiling leaves lots of room for self-improvement and enjoyability.

The inclusion of online multiplayer and ranked leaderboards gives the game long-term competitive value, while split-screen local play keeps the spirit of couch gaming alive.
