Solo play isn't that bad, but this is the type of game clearly designed for multiplayer mayhem and co-op fun.

It also has a different feeling, less linear dungeon and more open world.

There is also a decent roster of classes to choose from, such as Priest, Ranger, Thief, Warlock, Paladin and Wizard.

I'm sure there's plenty of challenge to be had with the higher difficulty levels for the hardcore players out there.

Graphics are a really well-done pixel-style look that does make it look like something from the 90s while having lighting effects that weren't typical back in the day, It just looks right and ages like fine wine.

While the game is fun if you're going it alone, it definitely shines the brightest in multiplayer, especially if you want to play a melee character as certain situations are very, very tricky to pass without proper ranged damage.
