What players think
The recurring themes across 54 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
The combat system is fun, the exploration elements are fun, graphics are great, and music (when present) is also really nice.
It had great graphics for the time, a typical punishing trial-and-error difficulty, and could be completed in about 10-15 minutes if you knew what you were doing.
That extends to the combat as well, were hits feel satisfyingly hard and it finds a few ways to expand on the whip's (well chain in this game) hooking abilities.
The soundtrack stood out—foreboding yet filled with a strong sense of adventure.
