The the controls are for movement cgreat but the entire menu system doesn‘t feel intuitive and is quite weird doesn‘t matter on keybord (even though you can change it) or on controller. my 3rd party xbox controller (which works everywhere) worked in the beginning but most of the of the playtests even though it had issues so that it only got recognized after closing the game and replugging it) but since the dev implemented achievements my controller is not working at sll anymore.
