This game hits all the right notes when it comes to fun and being memorable: a vast arsenal of unique weapons that are each fun to use (some even having different abilities, especially the missile launcher), fast paced action, a large variety of enemies, hilarious easter eggs and occasional one liners that put a smile on my face.

Now I didn't really play much of the main game itself since I had already finished it on the much more modern friendly Classic Redux remaster but what makes this version stand out a bit from Classic Redux is the option to play the various prototype builds of the game.
