What players think
The recurring themes across 186 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
The graphics are quite nice although some more animations in some of the buildings would be nice like villagers stumbling out the tavern for example.
Besides building, you can defend from raids, you can go on exploration missions with ships (nothing fancy, you click and then there's a chance after a few minutes to succeed and get rewards), you can trade with about 7-8 other settlements via ship trading menu once you've discovered them.
Opening up trading in the game definitely creates a better flow to the game and makes the balance better, but also makes it almost too easy after a while because you can just buy anything you need if you do enough missions.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
No recurring complaints surfaced in this sample.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 2 more themes were each raised by fewer than 4 sampled reviews and are not shown.
