The storyline deftly pulls you along with more polished cutscenes, gradual plot reveals and split narratives.
Overall, for itself I don't think it's own story pulls it through, but in context of the other 3 games, and given the excellent gameplay implementation, I recommend this to anyone looking for a relaxing game to play - but get episode 3 and play that first...
With some nice Snes-like graphics and interesting mechanics, this is a game I can recommend, although it's not without flaws and aspects that simply didn't click with me.
Along with that, significant upgrades have been given to the music and sound effects, including a couple of really stand-out boss themes, which is excellent because boss themes are the most important aspect in judging a JRPG's quality.
