What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
A healthy range of modes and stages (even more when fully loaded with DX+'s content additions and DLC) give you plenty of variety surrounding the solid core gameplay.
this game has a lot of different labyrinths and modes, there are a lot of labyrinths and everyone has modes or levels in it, so this game has both an endless mode where you get points, and levels that you can complete, adding a pseudo campaign to the game... there are medals too, achievements are very easy to get, but medals are the real challenge, getting all the medals is a really fun experience, and unlocks the classic style graphics, that is sick...
Classic SFX from the first arcade title return in all their satisfying glory.
Just make sure to use a control method with precision (either keyboard or a very good controller hat switch) if you want anything even closely resembling controllability at maxed game speed 50.
Very fun game and it runs perfectly on steam deck.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
No recurring complaints surfaced in this sample.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 5 more themes were each raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and are not shown.
