The combat is not bad, there are certain aspects like hits varying in damage that I find a bit odd, but I genuinely enjoyed how fights felt for the most part.

A decent standalone story that holds together better than Ds1 and DS3 but thats given the other 2 too much credit.

Map design, story, graphics, bosses, fluidness, progression, mechanics, are all what you would expect from a souls like developed by FS, so if you enjoy the struggle and don't mind mobbing, I'd encourage you to try it before making up your mind according to others.

Mom got me this game when I was 14 on the Xbox 360, it had uncapped FPS so it was the first time I experienced 40 FPS and it felt SOO good, multiplayer was fun and every buiild was viable.
