I liked it, it doesn't affect the plot from the First Code Vein in any way, it's more like an extension of the ent related to Revenants and Humans.
Final opinion: I repeat, it's definitely not worth taking the full price (For the Ultimate Edition - 2,599₴ ~ 60 $), because the main gameplay is ABOUT 40-60 hours, expect big discounts, the red price of the game is somewhere 10-20 $.
If you play on Low graphics settings, you will have missing or slightly polygonal textures for some NPCs and bosses, including plot ones (This is the case when a two-polygon mask of the plot boss looks at you), and shadows will be absent, because of this there will be harsh over-lighting.
Also, high production qualities, great art direction, excellent bosses (tough but fair), excellent music score (the music composition team deserves a raise), very responsive and fluid combat and controls, decent story.
