While the game makes a good effort to keep things fresh with environmental storytelling and sharp visuals, it doesn’t introduce the kind of deeper progression systems, unlockable moves, or elaborate combos that modern beat ’em ups sometimes incorporate.
The boss fights are slightly more varied than in the first game (Wich isn't much) Cutscene and boss issues are pretty much a staple of asterix license games xD The beat em up gameplay is somewhat acceptable.
