I feel in love with the campaign in this game: it was original, fun, like something I have never played before, with a really interesting setting.
If you like good old games, if you want to play strategy game where loss of even one character makes your game much harder, if you like interesting setting for a story and enjoyable gameplay - you should definitely give Original War a try!
All in all this game is worth playing if you can get past the dated graphics and you enjoy RTS games and wish they were a little more RPG-like.
The game has a small but loyal fan base that runs an international site, a Discord server and plays multiplayer.
The voice acting is sometimes really good and sometimes really terrible, the latter in particular for the Russian and Arab voice actors.
Over the years the jank parts of it also got ironed out and it's a higly polished, moddable game now (with workshop support!!!), with modernized graphics options, new interface, modern controls...
