The game runs well, even at the highest possible resolution, the gameplay is very rewarding for veterans and newcomers alike and honestly, the animations and visual fidelity is fantastic.

It's not the greatest looking game in the world but if you wanted a 2D FG with top of the industry graphics/art direction, Capcom, Bamco, and ArcSys are over that way.

As someone who isn't very good at these types of games, I feel the combat is complex enough to not get boring but simple enough that I was able to pick it up without it feeling like some unbeatable learning curve.
