You might be put off by "no town portal" but it actually really reinforces the gameplay loop and really makes you consider what you want to keep on you with limited inventory space.

This really felt nostalgic, playing like a love letter to Diablo 1 - slow movement, no regeneration, a lot of resource management, and meticulous, cumbersome combat.

All the genre requirements were met, if not exceeded, and the difficulty curve seemed balanced to me.

Graphics, albeit a little simple they represent well what they intend to too, the models are detailed enough (monsters and player);

And the soundtrack is magical: please let me buy it separately, and on physical as well.

In the game's current state I highly recommend it, I've yet to run into any glitches minus being hit through walls if near a door but that might be due to the nature of the game's Isometrical nature but I must point out again this game is brutal but it does get easier after the first few floors if you build decently.
