Textures and graphics for time period are top notch
hugely grateful i bought this game on steam. i played it an absolute TON when i was a kid and beat the main campaign a few times. i'm a huge fan of city builders and i'd probably credit this game to a lot of that. i never played the version with the reign of augustus DLC though, and it's definitely a very meaty and challenging treat!
It's fun, it has enough depth to it as to easily throw a couple of hours in one single mission/map, it has some replayability and it's difficult enough to be somewhat challenging to be catching.
The voice acting introducing campaigns is really well done
