As it is now, the game doesn't really fit into that roguelite genre at all. the progression feels like a snowball once you get momentum, that is pretty much it.
✅ Quirky charm and "soul" evident in world-building, writing, and overall ambition.
2: The visuals settings don't give you the option to turn off the pixel filter, which I don't even think looks very good the way they implemented it.
Don't intend to play this game without a controller, and with that I personally recommend using shooter mode, but swap l2/r2 attack with l1/r1.
With pixel-art aesthetics, real-time ray tracing, and a dynamic soundtrack, it aims to blend retro charm with modern technical flare.
For what it's worth, it plays incredibly well on my Steam Deck on mid settings with only occasional stutter as the number of enemies/explosions scales up.
