It's a solid game it understands that it's a small scale RPG and manages to keep up a strong narrative by making sure to focus in on its character dynamics instead of getting bogged down in every aspect of world building minutae while still leaving enough hints to intrigue players.

I was a little hopeful it would be more like Sakura Dungeon's combat (which caught me off guard back then and was quite interesting in how it balanced out attack and defense) but it's serviceable.
