Xanthiom Zero is an impressive indie Metroidvania developed and published by MathanGames that successfully blends retro design philosophy with modern gameplay refinement.
Wow, am typing this bleary eyed as purchased Xanthiom Zero only this morning to play through on my Rog Ally (Steam deck owners should also purchase this game) and have just exited out after completing my first playthrough after 6 hours total play time, I couldn't put the thing down!
The soundtrack complements the game's exploration-focused structure exceptionally well.
