What players think
The recurring themes across 32 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
If you miss the good ending by not getting every scroll piece or if you just want to go on some kind of challenge run playing around with skipping checkpoints for better upgrades, you may find yourself doing multiple playthroughs of this game, though I wouldn't imagine the average person playing this game wanting to play through the story more than twice (I personally only went through it once despite not getting the good ending).
Really smooth gameplay, good music, great 8 bit graphics, and mostly solid level design and fun bosses.
