I too ran into the save glitch that deleted all my progress after 10 hours of gameplay, however it was 10 extremely enjoyable hours and now I get to play 10 more hours to get back to where I was.
Winnie's Hole take a twist on the story on all known lovely characters, but honestly there complete no relation on that characters, even if you change another characters the game is still interesting.
