Giving players the ability to adjust the length and difficulty of a run means this game can easily slot into the 'pick up and play' category, allowing short bursts of escapism which feel rewarding.
Some of the challenge modes are hilariously busted and add so much more depth and replayability to an already excellent game.
Played it on my Steam deck and with a mouse on my laptop, both are enjoyable (prefered the mouse controls for aiming).
And absolute blast, graphics are good, music is good, gameplay is great, and after 15 hours never ran into a single bug.
Controls like Peggle with an Xbox controller, runs great on Steam Deck, tons of unlocks.
A story line could be cool as well, like an adventure mode.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
No themes split opinion in this sample.
No recurring complaints surfaced in this sample.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 3 more themes were each raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and are not shown.
