Three Minutes to Eight, developed by Chaosmonger Studio and published by Assemble Entertainment, is a unique and thought-provoking entry into the narrative-driven, time-loop subgenre.
As for the gameplay itself, I realize it may not be everybody's cup of tea, but I personally enjoyed the time loops and repetitiveness; it really brought out that 'Groundhog Day' vibe.
The presentation is further elevated by the soundtrack, which leans into ambient and synth-heavy tones that enhance the mood without becoming overbearing.
The animation, while minimalist, conveys just enough detail to bring this strange universe to life, while the lighting and shadows give it a moody and dreamlike quality.
