N++ (NPLUSPLUS)

Firstly, N++ is great because it feels a lot different than pretty much any platformer i've ever played, and the momentum based physics create some unique mechanics like "perp" jumping as an example.

similarly the sound effects i feel is easily overlooked as they're simple sounds which fit whatever enemy is approaching or whatever the ninja has just touched, and they add a sense of livliness to each level as something as simple as a rocket launcher firing sends an instant message to the player and it all blends together nicely to give a very aestically pleasing theme to the game.

Another thing I really enjoy about this game is that the difficulty curve feels extremely good and prepares you well for levels that may seem impossible at first.

Graphics are like the story; minimalist, to this game's benefit and to my delight.

The multiplayer component adds tremendous replay value and demonstrates how versatile the core gameplay systems truly are.
