What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
This game is perfect for those who love reading a late night horror story or those who sit through a 5 hour long scary video essay.
The game has a clear progression, as the protagonist's notepad keeps track of the tasks that have to be solved.
The textures, models, and lighting are fantastic.
The sound design is great.
What’s very nice is that there’s rarely a reason for the main character to just grab a random junk item into inventory or need to think as an “adventure game protagonist” rather than a normal human being trying to get what they want.
The puzzles are fun with an average difficulty.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 3 more themes were each raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and are not shown.
