Story and characters
Players who bring up Story and characters mostly praise it.
It might be the longest arcade sidescroller I ever played, at least 4 to 5 hours on the lowest difficulty, potentially much longer if you play with only 5 credits, not to mention some replay value if you go for the true ending or replaying with different characters.

Co-op
Players who bring up Co-op mostly praise it.
This game does have a rather fun couch-co-op option; this was the reason it was on my radar at all on steam.

Gameplay
Players who bring up Gameplay mostly praise it.
Very much a fan service if you liked those classic games with simple gameplay, you will spot all kinds of design references, both in gameplay and the visuals.

Audio
Players who bring up Audio mostly praise it.
The animations are smooth and easy to read, and the sound design is great.

Players who bring up Graphics mostly praise it.
On same topic, I felt like the later worlds also had better visuals for the tiles, where the first 3 sometimes didn't have a good texture on the rocks, looked cheaper than the second half of the game, but the effects like water and overall coloring still looked good.

Multiplayer
Players who bring up Multiplayer mostly praise it.
It's unfortunate that we didn't get a true multiplayer, if the game does well maybe we could aim for the peer to peer with a lobby, it just seems like a game you would want to play with random people.
