What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
☑ Good - If the developer did any more for the gameplay it'd probably be overbearing.
Therefore, as much as I have really enjoyed the Human campaign, I don’t think I have it in me to play another 60+ hours to grind (and I mean really grind) for the last achievement.
☑ Good - 8 bit graphics mixed with some higher fidelity images in the mix.
Flawless on steam deck - I play it with my AR glasses too, very nice.
There are many things to like here, the art style is clean and enjoyable taking obviously from the yesteryear of gaming and 8-bit graphics, the music and sound design is likewise remenicent of many older titles like the Heroes of Might and Magic era of gaming. the control scheme is straightforward and works as intended.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 4 more themes were each raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and are not shown.
