Every now and then, the game will require a specific demon ability to progress the main story, but the Goumaden will usually be close enough so that you can quickly swing by and summon a demon if you don’t have the right ability on you.
But it's worth checking out gameplay and comparison videos to see if this remaster is right for you.
The soundtrack is excellent, the main battle and exploration themes are stuck in my head on loop.
Graphically the game looks great, it feels like a remaster in terms of style and doesn't just force modern graphics onto it for no reason.
I locked my Steam Deck to 45 FPS and the performance was mostly fine, however there were a couple areas where the framerate did drop considerably.
