What players think
The recurring themes across 87 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
Gameplay is actually really good, and feels great to control, performance is pretty good but could maybe use just a tiny bit more optimization.
Super fun power combinations between the 2 characters + weapons and class can create great combos.
Where the game truly excels is in co-op play.
Great visuals, great sound design, fun music, fluid movement/gameplay, tons of replay-value, diverse enemies, diverse power-ups, progression feels impactful, risk vs reward is well implemented, and the game feels complete.
You can team up with friends online in full four-player multiplayer, or play “Best Friend Mode,” where each player controls one half of the frog-mech duo.
The soundtrack follows suit with a synth-heavy, upbeat score that drives the energy without overwhelming it.
