This game has all of the elements that make retro gaming so much fun, it has very fully integrated puzzles that are not like the dumbed down ones that you will find in modern games, as well as, bosses that are scaled to be a challenge with the almost bullet hell esc-gameplay.

At first the use of one or the other is scripted but it doesn't take long before they can be changed at will, opening up many possibilities further extended by upgrades, special weapons and accessories.

Sure, I like pretty graphics and good art design like everyone else, but there was something special about that time, when something that looked like it was made by one guy (who obviously didn't go to art school) in the corner of his bedroom after work could get some serious play.
