Gameplay
Players who bring up Gameplay mostly praise it.
Looting feels perfectly balanced as far as the gameplay loop goes.

Story and characters
Players who bring up Story and characters mostly praise it.
You have lots of gadgets, noise makers to distract or piss off opponents, magnets (built for tanks imo) that will make enemy's armor and your armor significantly heavier if you step too close ("nice one"), good ol' classic stun grenade, and a wormhole device (it's story important trust)!

Audio
Players who bring up Audio mostly praise it.
another place this game excels at is its writing, because of course the overpriced, rough-around-the-edges indie game is great in all places except for the actual gameplay. if i had a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ nickel. the guards are extremely entertaining to listen to as you're sneaking around, and some of their lines during combat are hilarious, too. all the vocal performances are great and the soundtrack, while not very memorable or well-implemented, does a good job complimenting the gameplay and story. the visuals are another point in favor of this game, cause damn, this game's stylish. i don't think i've seen another game that looks quite like raw metal, its visual identity is incredibly unique and looks VERY good in most cases. whenever you clear a combat encounter, your opponent ragdolls and it goes into a freeze-frame slow-mo silhouette thing where you watch your opponent fly to the ground after you land the final blow, but most of the time it looks ridiculous because. well. funny ragdoll.
