Grapple Dogs: Cosmic Canines

The grapple itself and all the different tools you get with each character play extremely well for both exploration and gaining speed, and it makes combing over the stages for collectibles and going for time trials nearly feel like two totally different games.

On a related note, the story is more than you would expect from a game with a name like Grapple Dogs.

What elevates the sequel, however, is the addition of a second playable character, Luna, whose gameplay emphasizes ranged combat and high-speed dashes.

It keeps some of the best parts of the first game and adds more to the formula whilst balancing difficulty and gameplay, which can be a tough thing to do.

The soundtrack is upbeat and dynamic, enhancing the sense of momentum as you swing and dash through levels.

The visuals of the game are as great as ever, and this one really messes with the art style in creative and fun ways.
