Serious Sam Classics: Revolution

Beyond that, this game worked well and felt almost exactly like the earlier games, with all the gameplay ideas which were added to later versions.

Pros - Classics: Revolution allows you to play both the First-Encounter and Second-Encounter along with "new" content, including cut weapons and new enemies in the main game and the Bright Island expansion.

This version also contains a new campaign, which, while elevating Serious Sam's bare-bones narrative to a compelling degree (at least by the standards of the series), I nonetheless could not be bothered to finish due to broken difficulty.

Lighting effects, water reflections, and textures have been subtly improved, giving the environments more depth without compromising the original aesthetic.

Plus it's easy to run, has value for money and is an FPS with same-screen multiplayer (If setting up the controls is a bit of a faff and the remote play together function may have an issue)!

Or you might have the most fun in Splitscreen Coop where you can adjust the game exactly to your liking in a lot of ways and compete with a friend for scores and least deaths.
