I got it that Alligator Pit wanted to show us once more the capabilities of SE1, but that's too much: when in TFE-TSE my FPS were NEVER below 120 FPS, in BI FPS is 40-50 most of the cases with microfreezes due to extremely high level of details on some structures (Sunken Pyramid start is perfect example) and lack of LODs on almost any part of any level (75%+ of Crystal Cove if perfect example)
- Gameplay is good in most of the cases.
The steam workshop also allows many fun mods like the textures from the amazing X-Box port of Serious Sam.

- Optimization is just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hilarious.
Thankfully co-op achievements can be unlocked playing just the last boss maps and some vs achievements in split screen mode.
