Story points never pay off and after halfway through to the credits the store essentially stops evolving.
Gameplay was simple to learn and easy to memorize, and I was happy to see that it's both keyboard and mouse and controller compatible.
I was initially drawn in by the simple pixel art style, and came to love how easy it was to get into the game.
I played the whole game on Steamdeck, all controls work well but some frame drops when running around town.
It is pretty easy to meet any goals you need to without thinking about it too hard, but it's fine because the mechanics themselves are satisfying and the game doesn't drag on to the point where it becomes tedious.
The soundtrack to the game is a great addition as well it really helps convey that small town charm with the amazing art style the game has to offer.
