The game feels superb to play on controller, you really feel like you have full control over your rover as if you were flying a fighter jet, which means any crashes that happen are 100% a skill issue on your part.
The soundtrack also perfectly reflects this vibe, and it feels rewarding hearing the soundtrack kick in as you get closer to the end of a particularly challenging stage.
It's a cool game, though this is more of a self improvement rally racing game than anything, as after unlocking the final rover, what's left for you is getting your skill up to be able to do courses at 100% difficulty or more if you feel confident in your rallying ability, and compete in the daily rally courses or online multiplayer which tends to force you to only have one chance at doing any given course.
