What players think
The recurring themes across 219 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
The game has near limitless potential and if we ever get an endless mode, it will gain some crazy value from replayability.
Despite a lack of dynamic elements, it's simple formula and short levels provide some replayability due to a mountain of guns and enough viable characters to offer a fair range of playstyles to try.
🔼 Huge track-list of licensed music that can be configured to play in-game
Retro 8-bit graphics with 16-bit effects and near-endless retro variety music make this a must play.
The game is far from finished but what there is currently with two big updates is pretty decent, definitely cant wait till couch co-op!
Keyboard and mouse is fine, but gamepad truly makes it a non-stop couch shooter fest.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
No themes split opinion in this sample.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. One more theme was raised by fewer than 5 sampled reviews and is not shown.
