What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
I'm not done with the story yet but I really like the characters so far, and the final fight is my favorite.
The gameplay loop is also really fun when you get the hang of it.
The town theme does get a bit old after a while, so an alternate town theme would be appreciated, but the rest of the soundtrack is pretty perfect.
The other thing is the game isn't really made for beginners, but rather advanced gamers, which isn't really a problem per se, but from people around me who played the demo, it seems like the initial difficulty might be alienating a lot of players whether its Routers that need quick reflexes and precision, switching that needs quick thinking and good map awareness while there's chaos all around, or whatever Tachi's deal is, not everyone can get the gist of the game from the get-go.
From what I saw of it, every level after the first has very pleasing visuals (the first one is just plainer, as you'd expect), gj to Toby and the artist.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
No recurring complaints surfaced in this sample.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 3 more themes were each raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and are not shown.
