Story: Good setting, subpar execution: Dialogues are fine and the writing of the characters is good, but it suffers from a too big of a goal: A simpler more straight forward story with a lot less characters would have suited this short and rather simple game a lot more.
Graphics: Nicely animated pixel graphics.
In many ways, Everdeep Aurora plays like a point-and-click adventure game, just with the added hook of an addictive gameplay loop built around drilling through tiles to further explore the underground world.
The polychrome visuals blend seamlessly with the soundtrack, it’s gentle, inviting, and maybe a little too relaxing at times.
