What players think
The recurring themes across 195 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
Enemies are tough, but don't respawn, the characters have good art and small arcs befitting the short story, and the world feels like it's on the brink of collapse.
The movement mechanics, leaping in particular, feels really fun and makes for some neat jumping puzzles where you have to gauge how far you're gonna go, lacking air control.
There is an otherworldly rhythm to the visuals—the constant flicker of lights, the mechanical groan of living walls, the way enemies pulse and convulse as if caught between being alive and dead.
The characters are a fun collection of oddballs. the Atmosphere really shines, the different parts of the world each having there own unique feel while overall maintaining a chilling desolate vibe punctuated by minimal sound design that works when it all gels together.
