Fallout: New Vegas

I Will be coming back for another play through just to see how the other choices change the characters that I grew to love. 10/10 experience for me, with amazing lore and engaging story beats that leave you wanting more.

All the best parts of Fallout 4, the actual combat and gameplay outside of dialogue.

Despite this, I still found myself captivated by the depth of the open world, combat, and worldbuilding.

But for those in 2026 that are looking for a good rpg, there are many with better graphics and more focused storylines to immerse yourself in.

There should always be a shout-out for the games music and atmosphere - the radio being something I listen to outside of the game but also there is a lot of ambient tracks in the OST that I found suitably creepy and immersive.

The engine is like a school made game project let's be honest lol but luckily the steam deck runs it smooth as butter, despite it still crashing about 30 times in a span of 60 hours.
