So much VERY HD textures, water effects, better lighting and also various bloating mechanics and triggers that would never work well on HL1 engine (and they still dont)

even with annoying glitches, still is worth it. the mods, main game, even the manhunt co-op mode (with the boss craig, hes friggin awesome.) its just fun, its re-playable and i recommend it. and yes at first it WILL be hard, but over time i guarantee that you will understand it better.
