Cry of Fear

I found myself completely drawn in, relating deeply, and wanting to dig more and more into the story.

The gameplay is great and very entertaining when compared to most other survival horror games, in my opinion.

The graphics are incredible despite the technical limitations, and the soundtrack is amazing.

Looking past that, the game has an unmatched atmosphere and visual presentation, using the limitation and rough graphics of the engine perfectly, especially in terms of enemy design.

Gunplay is important, as is occasional platforming with the classic crouch jump.

even with annoying glitches, still is worth it. the mods, main game, even the manhunt co-op mode (with the boss craig, hes friggin awesome.) its just fun, its re-playable and i recommend it. and yes at first it WILL be hard, but over time i guarantee that you will understand it better.
