For a game just about kicking the ♥♥♥♥ out of things, it is done surprisingly well, I am actually impressed with how smooth the gameplay is.

All the basic movement like jumping, sliding and dashing, to the more advanced moves like the 'quake-like' rocket jumping by charge kicking the walls, feel super smooth and really allow for fun and fast movement through the game, and when combined with all the combat mechanics it melts together really well.
