I think a lot of the atmosphere and visuals that in some places really manage to hold up still work due to having no clutter on the interface, which helps you get more immersed into the world.

Works perfect on steam deck with several control tweaks (the recommended community layout lacks half of the weapon binds) and an older proton, except for the last 2 minutes of the game, the timer for escaping the caverns is probably broken (however, I've heard that you can still make it in time).
