It's divided into major episodic story progression, but let's you skip back/forward to what you've unlocked, so it's also much variety in starting area an choice of endboss (something severely lacking in most rogue-like deckbuilders)

Pro/con: this game feels like it will have a definite "I've accomplished the story end." I like this and am glad that not every game in my library wants 200hrs to feel accomplished.
