A low-budget but really decent Metroidvania with lots of exploration, abilities to discover, and mostly fluid movement.
Because healing and melee were so strong, I never wanted to use energy for any of the ranged attacks - I think it would have worked better if healing and ranged used separate resources like the arrows in Islets.
If you're tired of linear metroidvanias or soulslike metroidvanias and want something that is true to the genre's origins then this is a absolute must play metroidvania.
