The old school graphics have grown on me over time and if you zoom in there's actually some cool details, like the skulls on the meat monsters back.

The game plays very well and very familiarly for regulars of the tower defense genre, and it definitely has escalating difficulty that requires strategy changes.

There seems a rich variety of enemies, with a nice encyclopedia describing the ones that have been unlocked, along with a break down of the weapons, and a bunch of achievements.

Don't get me wrong the soundtrack is solid, and most TD games settle for only one sountrack, but imo that shouldn't be the standard.
